« A great place to stay off the beat and path. To be secluded in nature was relaxing. Awesome teaching opportunity for the children. »

« Our family booked the longleaf cabin for a long weekend to see my step-son graduate with his PHD from FSU. The location of the property to FSU was a short 30 min drive which was convenient & kept us out of downtown away from all the college students celebrating the end of the semester. The cabin is set on a beautiful property and had so many amenities for out of town guests. « We had an amazing time on the river! We saw deer and rabbit on the property and the house is beautiful! »

« Overall was good. Thought it had a ramp and didnt so a little disappointed but the ramp is right down the road and the boat lift is awesome really helped having it. It is tiny but could easily fit 3 guys for a long weekend. In a good spot out of the way and great spot on the canal. Definitely coming back! »

The property was clean, quiet secluded and very relaxing. if I had to say something negative it would be that the grass wasn't cut, so the walk to the lake wasn't as enjoyable as it could have been. But despite that it was a great stay! And I would definitely recommend it to friends and family, as well as stay there again if you have the opportunity. »

« Kelly is an awesome host. Even though some of their property was damaged two weeks before by Hurricane Helene, they let us shelter there when our place was evacuated for Hurricane Milton. We have an old dog and a pet chicken which she allowed us to bring. She really went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable & all our needs were met.The cabin is really cute and very rural. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Governor’s Cabin. We were in Tallahassee for FSU graduation and wanted something unique, and this is just what we were looking for. It’s very relaxing and only about 30 minutes to Tallahassee. The cabin is rustic and has all the amenities. The beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean.
