« Very pretty pub with nice rooms above. In a great quiet location. The rooms were quaint but with modern amenties and well maintained. Breakfast was great as was dinner in the pub. The staff were very friendly. »

« Déception pour la chambre : elle n’est pas récente mais en plus la propreté n’est pas optimale (toiles d’araignée au plafond, bêtes sur le sol, lumière HS). Et certaines choses sont à améliorer d’urgence : lavabo dans la chambre, porte qui donne sur la douche et les WC est complètement cassée. Rien à voir avec les photos. Ce qui sauve la note : l’amabilité et un accueil très chaleureux. Autre mauvais point : pas de restauration possible (ni dîner, ni petit déjeuner) En bref des prestations pas...

« Beautiful setting, walked through the lavender bushes after a delicious Sunday roast. Room is amazing and the staff are so lovely. All made for a relaxing, overnight stay. »

« Auberge telle qu on aime en trouver: atmosphere british, echange spontane avec clentele, tres bonne ale au pub, patron tres accueuillant et serviable ( il nous a bien aide a affiner notre periple touristique avec prospectus), plats nombreux au choix, le tout pour un budget tres raisonnable. « All the staff at the Anglers Arms were lovely, they couldn’t do enough for you. All the food we had (3 breakfasts &. 1 dinner) was very good. The hotel is in need of some modernisation but we know that Joanne and the team are working on this, given a little time they will get everything right but in the meantime it is still a good place to stay and excellent value. »

« Simple no fuss quick stop in Durham, hotel was a short walk from the centre above the railway station. Good food available in the evenings and breakfast buffet good also although not "full English Breakfast" »
