'I made the right choice to stay here. One of the best experience I had in Kyoto, I wished I booked more than a night. The staff were very welcoming and courteous, they gave me a 5 star service. The room, actually it was more of a suite, was clean. I felt like I was in a different world when I was there because of the set up/ambiance. They also have a great location, just right beside the shrine. Just don’t bring heavy luggage because of the stairs, I felt bad that they carried my heavy luggage...

'A beautiful Kyoto house, thoughtfully and tastefully furnished yet comfortable for modern life with great view of the Yasaka pagoda. Every possible thing needed had been provided. We loved the bathroom. The little library was fantastic, and I loved to sit upstairs in the morning and watch the sun come up over eastern hills with a coffee and a book.
