'This was the accommodation we looked most forward to on our Japan trip, and it did not disappoint. It was very beautiful and cozy. Well renovated old traditional house. Spacious living room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. There is all you need to cook and wash. We ordered half pension, which is highly recommended. Great local food. The breakfast you cook yourself after a easy to follow instruction. I would love to come back for more than pone night. '

'This property was absolutely epic. Extremely fast communication, gorgeous house and delicious dinner coordinated during a time when most things are shut. Mari and her team were so great. We regretted we didn't have more than one night to enjoy this picturesque village and perfect house. It surpassed all expectations. My group was 6 family members and we stayed at 8 different places all over Japan for a two week adventure and all 6 agreed this property ranked #1 of all. Can't wait to return and...

'really good facility, close to the water front which i love and in between several areas of interest that you can walk to. The showers and baths were an added bonus as we didnt know that it would include the hot bath, really good to come back to that after a long day. Staff was super friendly and there was a music venue right next door, although we had other things we wanted to do so we weren't able to go. 'If you looking for a quiet family oriented place for 1-2 nights outside Kyoto with a Ryokan and privacy. This is the place. Bring lots of games and books, nice walks along the river. It is not a large hotel and it is not easy to get to. But the right circumstances make this a perfect experience. '

'Super vriendelijk personeel! De gratis pick-up van het station is niet echt nodig, maar wel handig. Ook werd er geen probleem van gemaakt dat we arriveerden voor de check-in tijd. De koffers mochten we in de lobby achterlaten, zodat we al de omgeving konden verkennen. Bij terugkomst voelde we ons wel een beetje bezwaard, aangezien het personeel zo lief was geweest om de koffers alvast in de kamer te zetten. 'Great property! Clean, comfortable, well-equipped kitchen. Only one bedroom (upstairs) has actual beds. The downstairs bedroom has Japanese style futons. The stairs to the second floor are circular and somewhat steep, a challenge for those with mobility limitations or heavy luggage. Lots of space indoors for kids to play, but none outside. The house it built on stilts over a very steep slope, almost a cliff.The Main difficulties checking in were (1) the contact phone is not correct, and (2)...
