'If you looking for a quiet family oriented place for 1-2 nights outside Kyoto with a Ryokan and privacy. This is the place. Bring lots of games and books, nice walks along the river. It is not a large hotel and it is not easy to get to. But the right circumstances make this a perfect experience. '

'What an amazing experience! The propert was excellent, amazingly welcoming, clean and great location. The hosts were very nice and we had a privilege to attend the band practice at the restaurant. This is a great and authentic ryokan, breakfast was included and was very delicious and traditional. The traditional bath was the absolute charm after a long day. I would highly recommend this place!'

'Hotel was clean and staff attentive. Breakfast was a buffet style and was very good. Very conveniently located in front of the train station. Walk to the sand bar is close, about 10mins. Great place to sty for one or two nights.'

'Great property! Clean, comfortable, well-equipped kitchen. Only one bedroom (upstairs) has actual beds. The downstairs bedroom has Japanese style futons. The stairs to the second floor are circular and somewhat steep, a challenge for those with mobility limitations or heavy luggage. Lots of space indoors for kids to play, but none outside.
