« What else can you say about the cutest hotel in Madison!? As the desk clerk said, "It's a 19th century hotel." The staff is excellent, it's a perfect walking distance to anywhere you want to walk to...parking is easy and convenient...they provide breakfast every day, and during weekends it is at the restaurant next door! I've stayed here a few times, and will most assuredly be staying here again. »

« Richard was the kindest innkeeper. He allowed me to stay in my room past checkout and drove me to the bus stop so I wouldn't have to walk my luggage in 92° heat. He was very thorough in his tour and very accommodating. Unfortunately, the window AC wasn't sufficient for the massive heat wave in most of the house, but I was staying in the basement apartment which was pleasantly cool. Breakfast was delicious, but be sure to inform them of any food allergies in advance! »

« très belle maison de la fin du 19 ème siècle,meublée avec beaucoup de gout.On annonce Bed and Breakfast mais nous n'avons vu personne,le propriétaire nous a donné le code d'entrée par téléphone.La literie était trés inconfortable ,donc mauvaise nuit. »

« We had an amazing stay at Mont Rest! Hearing the history from Chris (the owner) was an added treat! So crazy to see how she saved the property not once, but twice! The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was incredible. I loved that there wasn't a huge push to get people checked out. Our room was lovely and well appointed! We cannot wait to schedule another long weekend in Bellevue! »

« The home is beautifully restored with modern touches, yet remains true to it's roots. The property has a short path to a river with benches to relax. Robin, the host was very personable and served a lovely breakfast. The other touches that were unique was an ice machine, refrigerator, water, soda and a Keurig machine available for use in the common area. And Cookies! This was the perfect place to relax and unwind! »
