Woonboten in Zuidwest-Michigan

'Very small bathrooms, no anti slip device on shower floor and the grab bar was mounted on the wrong side, there was an exhaust vent but no switch for a fan. The patio door leading to the balcony didn't lock properly, was easily forced open. No microwaves in room. Continental breakfast was extremely mediocre, no hot bar, the juice machine was basically dispensing lightly colored water. They were very nice and the place was clean but we will not be using this hotel again.'

'It's just an older property but well maintained for the age, the staff was great'

'We had a suite with hot tub and separate living area with fireplace and tv. However, the tv had no remote and therefore didn't work. We asked about it and they said they would take care of it. They brought a remote that did not work. We complained again and it was never taken care of. After two days we requested maid service to get beds changed and towels and that was never done either. We were supposed to be there four days and left after three due to the poor service. We most likely...

'Breakfast was not at all what one would expect from a Marriott property. The ac in the room blows directly onto the person sleeping on that side of the bed. Poor positioning.'

'The beds & shower were good. No towels in the room and the bathroom was super hot. The room was super hot upon entering but manageable after a couple hours. I propped the bathroom door open the entire time to bring cool air inside. Breakfast was gross but there is a nearby Dunkin Donuts and great restaurant called Stacy's Pancake House across the street which was wonderful but pricey.'

'Didn't really use any amenities but room and hotel are beautiful and well maintained.'

'We were so happy with the property, the perfect getaway with our pup. The back deck was great for an evening glass of wine and we were surprised to see two pairs of swans gliding along the lake our first night there. Our pup had fun chasing the boat waves while we relaxed on the shoreline. Close to so many great dog friendly places. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future!'
