'We had such an incredible time in Montrose, CO—it truly felt like a little escape! The house was super cozy, very clean, and clearly well taken care of. Valerie is a fantastic host—so kind and always quick to respond whenever we had a question. She really made everything easy and stress-free. The house had everything we needed for a comfy, relaxing stay. And the location? Perfect—just a short drive to the stunning Black Canyon of the Gunnison! We’d come back in a heartbeat!'

'The location was easy to find using google maps. It was very nice and we enjoyed our stay very much. It's a short distance to downtown Durango. It had everything we needed. Friendly owner and easy process. Beautiful view. Will definitely be coming back. '

'We are so glad we stayed here. These two units open up to each other, and although there isn't a full kitchen like a condo would have, there is a nice kitchenette. Staying up on the mountain was great because we really enjoyed the amenities up there and especially Jose's outdoor bar right at the bottom of the slopes. Had we stayed in town, we may not have enjoyed the mountain as much, yet by driving into town, we were able to enjoy the town as much as we desired. So, for us this was the perfect...

'I rented the skoolie to stay in while my son & I explored Mesa Verde. It was such a fun experience! Gave us a bit of a glamping experience, which I appreciated. The craftsmanship of the interior conversion is outstanding. The owners were also very responsive and helpful with our requests. I would absolutely stay here again if given the opportunity. '

'Grand Lodge hotel room that is a VRBO. It has excellent access to the ski lift. It is only a two minute walk to start your ski day (or Summer hike). The staff at the Grand Lodge is always friendly and extremely helpful. The location is perfect. Once you walk out the front doors you are almost in the bus line for downtown. This is awesome. Once you park at the hotel…..you don’t have to worry about driving at all :) Only bummer…..the room doesn’t have a microwave.'

'What an awesome property and perfectly cozy spot to spend a few days in CB! So clean, so quiet, so easy to get around. Near stunning mountain trails and a very convenient shuttle to town. Such a unique place filled with a plethora of Vintage Ski memorabilia. The owners are super friendly and thoughtful! We can’t wait to return. '

'Great place to stay! Location was fantastic, short walk to base lifts. Super clean, lots of linens and storage for luggage. Parking was great and kitchen was well stocked as were the bathrooms. We would definitely stay again! '

'This place is wonderful! The 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms were great to have. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to cook in, but being so close to Main Street allowed us to walk to restaurants and shops. Jamie was communicative and welcoming. HIGHLY recommend. We will stay here again..'

'We stayed for a few days in the summer and found the location to be central to everything which was great with 2 kids. Apartment was clean and kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The apartment is on the third floor accessible from stairs outside from the alley. Also note the bedroom windows face the alley so having them open in the summer at night was noisy. All considered we liked our stay and would consider staying again. '

'George has created such a cozy and inviting space. It is tucked away and private with a lovely outside space to enjoy, but it is still close to all of the shops and restaurants in downtown. The grocery store and Walgreens are also an easy walk. There is so much to enjoy in Durango. This studio is such a great retreat. I look forward to coming back!'

'The house is a cute small house that has kept its original charm with modern comfort. The location could not have been more perfect, literally steps from Main St. My husband and I enjoyed celebrating his 40th, spent the mornings fishing at Eleven Mile Reservoir and the afternoons exploring Buena Vista, we could not have picked a better place to stay!'

'The property was very well kept, in an incredibly convenient area near restaurants and right on the slopes. The hosts were very helpful and prompt with all of my needs. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone that wants the convenience of being in mountain village.'
