'The Buffalo Bill Suite was sweet! We walked in and immediately loved the place, It was perfect for my 96-year-old father and myself. And! Yes! The kitchenette was actually functional. We had all we needed to make our breakfast and lunch and of course we had to eat at the steakhouse for dinner. The waitress, Z and the cook were fantastic, too. Many thanks for our perfect accommodations and being right at the City of Rocks!'

'There were several pros: great view, comfy beds, and nice shower head and water pressure. There are also a few things to note before you stay here. 1. If you’re bringing dogs, please know that the property is mostly cheatgrass. They did trim some right around the house, but everywhere else it is so prolific. We weren’t able to walk around the property without it getting stuck to us. We even had to take our dog to an emergency vet while we were there because one got his eye. 2. The house was very...

'When we arrived, the unit we had reserved had not been cleaned. We called the offsite (no onsite personnel) number. The person tried putting us in the unit next door. It also hadn't been cleaned. He then tried a third unit which had been cleaned. We chose to stay there. We were comped a dinner at the onsite steakhouse for the hassle. Everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful, but having no onsite personnel is an issue. It is a very remote area so getting help is probably an issue.'

'The property was perfect. Everything was clean, well stocked, and in order. Communication was excellent. We loved watching the wild life and although we were busy while there, we took the time to relax and enjoy the home. It was beautifully appointed and tastefully done. Would most definitely stay here again.'

'The space was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities to prepare a meal, host-provided snacks and beverages were a nice addition, and an easy 5 minute drive into Stanley. Everything was great! We really appreciated the porch seating in the morning and evening. Very peaceful atmosphere.'
