'The room was clean and easy to get to. The breakfast could have been better'

'Nothing wrong, great place to stay'

'Friendly staff clean room nice location'

'The staff was very nice & helpful. As for the room, it was fair to ok at best. The water pressure in the shower was nonexistent. The first room we had, the TV would not come on at all & only a couple lights worked. They moved us to a different room after we requested. The second room was ok. The beds were fairly comfortable. The 2nd floor was under renovation & just after 7:00 am they started working. We were awakened by hammers & drills. We only stayed here because the other hotel in town was...

'great value & location, nice, comfortable, clean, studio 6, as always very dog friendly'

'For travelers with dogs, it's the best place in Effingham. & Convenient, even walkable, to some really good food. Close to I70'

'There were men behind the facility all night long…. Made me very uncomfortable. I don’t know if they had permission to be there or not.'

'It was quiet, the rooms were decent over all for the price it wasnt bad'

'When I checked in the room I was given had not been cleaned yet. Dirty towels/bedding had not been changed ect. I went to the front desk and they gave me a new room and the toilet was usable but the bolt was broken and so it rocked when you used it. The curtain on the shower kept sliding open, They should have refunded me my full nights stay.'

'Great host, clean, safe environment, beautiful building and nice little seat in the garden. '

'The room was clean and comfortable. Loved having the little love seat couch. My husband and I could both sit on it and work on our computers at the same time. Would have been nice to have a clock that works, it went off at midnight, and the only way I could get it shut off, was unplugging it. The lady and gentleman, that was behind the desk were so nice.'

'Great location for exploring Shawnee National Forest! Property was clean and quiet. They are in the process of updating the rooms on the property.'

'Very clean and quite'

'This room was clean I used to clean for hotels so I check everything and this was one of the best I have seen. A few maintenance issues nothing big funky shower faucet. Staff was so caring and kind !'

'They were sealcoating the entrance area and had to park on the street'

'It’s a good motel to stay over night when making long trips. Some splatter on the ceiling and not sure what it was but I can only assume. I also killed two roaches, both in the bathroom. Breakfast provided which is hard to find currently. Loved the waffle station. Cereal was stale according to my wife but it got the job done.'
