« Good time and peaceful on the lake. The house needs updates, like the dinky shower hand held wand, its really for campers not houses, we replaced light bulbs. There was no coffee ir hot chocolate, which you offered, the beds were ok, the tv only worked if you paid for ut??? »

« This was exactly what we were looking for - small, cozy cabin for my family! We didn’t spend a ton of time at the VRBO as we were out and about. Ruth was fantastic to communicate with! She left a bottle of wine, had plenty of pamphlets of the area and everything you’d need (stocked kitchen, plenty of blankets (it was chilly when we stayed).My kids loved the lake and “fished”. I would 100% book again. »

« We had a wonderful time! The property was clean, well taken care of and honestly an amazing layout! The property is about a 1 minute drive away from a nice restaurant and across the way is a well stocked grocery/party store. Also, only ten minutes away from down town mackinaw. Which is perfect to stay out of town but close enough to make a late night ice cream run! »

« This is the third time we’ve stayed at this wonderful home. We were there for nearly a month, and not once did we get bored or wish we were home. The hosts are truly wonderful people; considerate, compassionate, and big rock hounds like us. We loved being surrounded by nature, the way the place feels like walking into a home where you’ve always been comfortable, and the ceiling of stars at night. We love it here, and hope to be back annually, for as long as time allows. »

« Cottage is filled with wonderful art, books, collectibles. A delightful environment. Location on Lake Huron was convenient and beautiful. Be aware that the refrigerator is very small -- smaller than some you'd find in some hotel rooms. It has no working freezer capacity meaning no ice cubes, nowhere to put a pint of ice cream. We had to buy a styrofoam cooler and keep it filled with ice during our five day stay. When I asked the property manager about the refrigerator she told me that she...

« Great cottage on beautiful Brevort Lake. House was extremely clean and comfortable with bedding and towels supplied aa well as kitchen stocked with all the utensils we needed. The fire pit area right on the lakefront is awesome and was enjoyed every night. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful and relaxing time in the beautiful UP. »

« One bathroom was the hardest part. Honestly if the owner just added a half bath it would really help the property. Also put a mirror in another room. The only mirror in the entire house is in that one bathroom. »

« Quaint little cabin. Nice lake access. Close to the highway, so some noise during the morning. We were gone most of the day, so not sure what the day was like. Friendly owners. Didn't have laundry like the listing said so we had to go into town and do it there. Bed was comfortable. »
