« The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property...

« Best about the accomodation is being on top of the hill overlooking the sea. Comfortable for a group of 4 persons. Nice hot shower, spacious twin bedroom with bath, cozy place to rest at the end of the day after Eden project and St Ives. Malcolm and Linda were reached able via mobile and email. We didn't have a car but the flat is near St Austell train station, it’s about 25 mins walk. There are buses.But Taxi difficult to book, long waiting time. »

« Helen and Paul must be two of the nicest and kindest hosts we've met. After a 6 hour drive, to arrive to a cream tea laid out in the apartment was truly a lovely touch. One of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, they'd literally thought of everything you could need. You name it, it was there, potato peeler, sieve, cling film, foil the works. « A beautiful little hideaway central to anywhere you want to go in Cornwall. Lovely peaceful little site. Tina is a beautiful soul who is so helpful. We will be returning and fully recommend to anyone who loves the simplicity of peace and tranquility. The pods are small cosy and homely. The dogs and horses are a joy to watch and be around. « A generously sized apartment in a wonderful location with a view of the harbour. We had a full family group and everyone had enough space. Well equipped for self catering but above a fabulous restaurant (no problems with noise from above or below) and many other great choices for great eating out within 5 minutes. The stand out feature is the harbour view - you could spend a lifetime just watching the sea, the harbour, the crabbers, the people trying to choose between 5 delicious ice cream...

"Bon séjour à Pier house hôtel. Les chambres sont un peu chaudes pendant la canicule. Il y a des ventilateurs mais les fenêtres ne s’ouvrent pas toutes et pas assez en grand"
