'There is not much to do in the direct surroundings of the hotel and therefore you must always take a taxi or tuctuc.. food is excellent, although the waiting time is relatively long. We had a room without sea/pool view big we didn't expect to be overlooking the trashbins.. Staff is very eager to help, would be better if they would be a little more in the background. Everytime we came down three or four staffmembers would come up to ask about your day, if you wanted to dine, if you wanted any...

'Really cute new hotel! The staff was amazing! Due to miscommunication we arrived in another hotel, therefor we arrived late in Serenity. But it was al good and they took good care of us. They don’t have a restaurant, but the staff dien’t hesitate when we asked for some drinks! They went on a motorbike for us, late in the evening, for some drinks for us! So nice! Also, the room was amazing. Really big, nice bed, good working a/c and wifi! Really recommend this hotel! '

'Overall I would recommend a stay at Ella Ridge View but with a few caveats. It is a tucked away down a narrow road and a bit rough around the edges. We stayed in a room in the older building — and it wasn’t super clean. If you’re willing to look past that you will be rewarded with the best breakfast and best views. There is a family that lives on the ground floor and the staff are all very accommodating. '

'The staff here could not be more helpful and friendly. I felt very welcomed and safe. The property sits on a lakefront with abundant wildlife. I enjoy photography and one of the staff kayaked me with my camera around the lake to take photographs of the wildlife. Like I said the service is unparalleled and the food is excellent. The staff is prompt and plans were followed up to the letter. It doesn’t get any better.'

'We had a wonderful stay at the villa. For our son it was very good to have a nice pool and a beach to play in the sand with his toys. We stayed 6 Nights. It was very comfortable to have a person who is always there for you when you need sth or have questions. Malith was great and we loved him very much. He was always nice and professional. He was available the whole time and when you check in you get his mobile number and you can text him always via What's App and he responds immediately. This...

'The staff was excellent and provided as much help as possible. It still doesn’t help that the bathroom and the bed were of bad quality and the door was only a wooden door, so not a very safe feeling for a woman travelling solo. '
