Cruises in Southampton

'We stayed at Ennios the day and night before a cruise. Ennios is a restaurant (a good nice Italian restaurant) and has 5 rooms as well. The service is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are located on the first floor but there is no elevator. We could leave our suitcases that we didnt need at reception. The rooms are comfortable. A nicely stocked mini-bar (i hate it to get into a room with a minibar to find it empty..), coffemaker and kettle. Beds are very comfortable. We had dinner as well with...

'This is the worst place I have ever stayed in. The photos do not reflect the disrepair of the place. The photos of the room showed towels and when we arrived there were no towels. We were unable to take a shower before going out to our party. Very disappointing after a very warm day. When we got into bed one side of the bed was broken and I collapsed onto the floor. Do not book this place.'

'We were in Southampton on one of the hottest days of the year. The hotel is not air conditioned. A small fan was provided, but it was an unbearably uncomfortable night and neither of us were able to sleep. I have stayed at the Novotel numerous times over the past two decades and the hotel is increasingly dated and tired, especially the bathrooms. Considering increasingly hot summers, the owners of the hotel should invest in Air Conditioning.'

'Absolutely unfit for rental. No bulbs in lamps. No towels. Only boiling water in the shower - unable to take a shower. We had to go to lesure centre to be able to shower. Never again.'
