'Well appointed, spacious and clean. Easy drive to state and national parks. Beautiful wooded backyard with deck, fire pit and hot tub I booked through Expedia. Make sure you also have a VRBO app or account if you book through Expedia. That is how the property manager communicates check in procedure. She communicates check in info well in advance but through VRBO. Didn’t have the app or VRBO account so I had to contact VRBO customer service to get access instructions. 'Beautiful house and garden. We had our 5 and 6 year old run laps to burn off extra energy. As a family of 5, inside was to small for my bunch, would be perfect for less amount of people.The boys enjoyed the variety of games and maze around property, and felt safe with locked gate.Please note, it is off a busy road and we were able to hear cars during our 2 nights there. This did not keep us up all hours...All in all, beautiful property and enjoyed the location.'

'We had a great start at this house. We got to go explore the redwoods and play at the beach. Best of both worlds. The town on the other hand seemed very sketchy and run down. I was very happy that this home had a gate in front because it really isn't the best town. But you will feel safe in the house so no need to worry there. Definitely worth the stay in Crescent City to be able to see all of the beauty we got to go find. '

'It was clean and organized, well thought out and put together exactly like a vrbo should be. There were cookies and dog supplies set out for us and a great fenced in back yard for pets. The grill worked and came with two full propane tanks. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking dogs. It was very close to the redwoods and the river. Gotta watch out for the low hanging light in living room and the bathroom shower curtain can leak, but those are small issues. Overall great little place...
