« We used to stay in motels around Brookings until we found this place. It’s perfect for the whole family (even dogs as it is fully fenced) and you can’t help just wandering around the yard and relaxing in the hammock or backyard swings. « Beautiful surroundings in the woods, frequented by deer. Private and quite. Hosts were very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay here. The one downside was the foam mattress was not comfortable for my husband and it had a plastic cover on it that became damp and sticky during the night. A nice mattress topper would help that. »

« First time staying here and we absolutely loved it!! Great location with a private beach close to everything. Could have installed a bigger water heater as it so small only 1-2 people can take a shower the rest have to wait an hour to get the next group on. I recommend installing an instant hot water tank in the unit it’s not much more in cost. Other than that the cabin was perfect and we will be back!!!! »

« This is a great spot if you are looking for a quiet charming place to enjoy some down time. It’s best probably for a couple, but will sleep more. The cabin itself is marvelous. It’s small and very efficiently laid out. The builder handmade much of it and everything is wonderfully crafted. You can feel the quality of the hand construction. The location is a bit tricky to find on arrival especially at night, but follow the directions and it’s not a problem. It becomes easy once you’ve been there....

« The cabin was adorable. My family absolutely loved it. There were a few things that could have been better. The cabin wreaked of cigarettes. The first thing I did at arrival was open every window. The second was the floors had some weak spots one in the bedroom and two in the kitchen. My family will definitely be back again. »

« Took my dog and 7 year old son on a road trip, stayed here for two nights to break up the drive - pictures don’t do it justice. There was MORE than enough room inside but can I just gush over the backyard for a hot minute?! It was perfect!! The sun hit just right, the patio and gardens were beautiful, and the fire pit was a great way to cap the evening. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to all those looking in the area! »

« Such a great place to stay! I knew nothing about the beachfront inn, so it was a wonderful find. Spacious, comfortable room. Ocean view, falling asleep and waking to the sound of surf. It's well off a main road so it's quiet. It was a full Breakfast, and when anything got a little low, the staff replenished the item. I wish every place I stay was this nice. »
