DANCING BEAR is a cozy cabin with awesome 30 mile views. Situated in a semi secluded mountain setting between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Dancing Bear is a beautifully decorated log cabin that sleeps 2-4 with Spectacular Mountain Views and is perfect for a romantic getaway or small family vacation. Dancing Bear is located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg just minutes from both towns and only 5 minutes from Dollywood, Splash Country and the National park. Dancing Bear is equipped with everything you could need; fully equipped kitchen, cable, LCD, DVD, movies, pool table, hot tub, gas fireplace, washer & dryer and don't forget BREATH TAKING VIEWS!!! Make plans now to stay in this truly amazing one bedroom, one bath log cabin with out of this World views!

Our cabin is located in a log cabin community called Sky Harbor, accessed from the King Branch Road exit just a couple of minutes drive southeast of Pigeon Forge on Parkway 441 going up the mountain toward Gatlinburg. All cabins are owned individually, as opposed to being part of a resort. You can expect to drive 5 minutes from the Parkway up to the cabin. The closest Trolley Stop is located at the Gatlinburg Welcome Center, just a few minutes farther southeast from the King Branch Road exit on Parkway 441. Click on our map link to see exactly where Dancing Bear is located and you can zoom out to see Pigeon Forge (about 2 minutes northwest from the King Branch Road exit) and Gatlinburg (about 5 minutes southeast).

You will enjoy the privacy and peacefulness at Dancing Bear, since each cabin lot is about an acre and the nearest cabins are at least 200 feet away on either side, or 500 feet down the mountain.

As you enter this cozy cabin you will find a beautifully decorated open area with gas fireplace and a Flat screen TV with DVD player along with a large leather Couch and Chair with cozy pillows along with a wood rocker. The fully equipped kitchen includes a wood table with four comfortable chairs. You will be pleased to find there are plenty of silverware, utensils, pots & pans, cook and bake ware, appliances and of course a coffee maker and toaster.

In the master bedroom you will see the Jacuzzi perfect for a romantic evening. You will also have a sturdy King size log bed with handmade country quilt, dresser and flat screen with DVD player.

Enjoy a game of pool or darts in the gaming area. You will never have to leave this cabin paradise to have a great time! On the large back deck you will have a huge hot tub, plus rocking chairs to enjoy the mountains with your special someone. You will have complete privacy on the deck!

The cabin has lots of adorable and romantic decorations with lots of windows for viewing the mountains. There is a full bathroom with washer and dryer. There’s even an ironing board and hairdryer! Amenities include Cable TV with network stations and movie channels including Starz and Encore plus free wireless internet is another amenity this cabin offers.

This is the ultimate cabin to enjoy your honeymoon, celebrate an anniversary or romantic getaway and is also perfect for a small family that wants to have fun. We hope that you will enjoy the amazing views this cabin has to offer.

Beautiful Cabin

Beautiful cabin, very clean and as described in the listing. The views were wonderful, I enjoyed my coffee every morning from the porch. The only thing I’d say that needs to be improved - the bed desperately needs to be replaced. It was really uncomfortable and was dipping in the middle. Other than the bed, everything else was great.

A beautiful anniversary escape

My husband and I had a great time staying in this wonderful cabin for our 15 year wedding anniversary. The fireplace and hot tube were so cozy and comforting after long days of hiking. The view was also gorgeous!

Smoky Mountains Visit

This was a wonderful place to stay for my wife and I. We had a relaxing three nights playing pool, sitting by the fire, and enjoying beautiful views from the hot tub on the deck. Very clean and well stocked. Close to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Only negative is the steep drive up to the cabin - would not want to attempt in bad weather - in fact, we didn't want to attempt after dark! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Arrived for short holiday into Smokey National Park. House was conveniently located. The kitchen and home were appropriately stocked. All appliances worked. Fireplace on timer was fantastic. Outdoor hot tub was immaculately clean. Views were stunning.

Loved it!

The cabin is perfect. Very clean and proximity to Smoky Mountain National park is great. They really need a new Bed. Maybe a box spring would help the bed. Hot tub was our favorite. Wildlife was a plus. Saw a bear for the first time and I have been to TN multiple times. Thank you Dancing bear for making this the best trip!!!

Perfect holiday stay

We stayed here over christmas with our 2 kids. We loved the cabin, very spacious, great view. The drive to it was pretty steep and unexpected but with clear driving conditions no issues. Easy access to get in and perfect location to pigeon forge. And Gatlinburg.

My trip to the dancing bears cabin was nothing but amazing I recommend this cabin to anyone that needs peace it's quiet soothing and satisfying and we actually got to see a family of bears on our trip they was on the front porch and we actually witnessed them climbing the trees just amazing I would definitely be coming back again

Amazing getaway!

Dancing bears was a dream come true trip for us! The fall colors were amazing, the cabin was far enough away from everyone else to have privacy on the deck but close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to see all the sights. We had bears visit us daily and that was the highlight for us. They were in the back and on the side of the cabin so we could watch from the deck safely. The cabin was spotless and well equipped. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and then turning on the fireplace, it was a perfect ending to our nights. The only suggestion I would have is adding a dresser to unpack our clothes in and a new couch. Neither were a big deal though. The host was great at getting back to us when we had questions also!

Cabin was clean , organized and had essentials provided. Fire place and hot tub was a nice feature to have when it was freezing outside. Within good driving distance from pigeon forge and Gatlinburg while still being secluded. The perfect get away cabin for a honeymoon or anniversary trip. We will be back

Beautiful Location

The cabin location felt private and there was a nice view. The cabin was nicely furnished and we slept very good in the bed. We had 4 bear sightings from the back balcony at the cabin which was exciting. We loved our stay.

Perfect little cabin

I rated this listing as a 2 out of 5 because… the pictures do NOT give this cabin any justice!! These photos seem very outdated compared to the cabin we stayed in. Our jaws dropped when we walked in. We could not believe how nice this cabin was for the price that we paid. The cabin was clean, tidy and comfortable. The ONLY downfall of this whole entire cabin was the view… we were expecting the grand view we saw in the listing but in reality the view was super small. Obviously trees grow and it’s summer but that was the only complaint that we had. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great views

Myself and family had a great stay at this cabin and our first time in the area. The cabin was very well equipped with the necessities, which is very much appreciated. Had a great view off the porch abd saw bears on a few evenings. There is some discrepancies in the directions for the key pad locks, one part of the listing states one brand of lock on the door with turning the tumbler upon locking and then another one is the current lock. I did send a message to the owner the night before we left out of courtesy to let them know we would be leaving really early and a thank you and never received a response back. Not the end of the world, but a respect thing to me. ththe the current lock on tlock

Get away spot

The cabin was cozy and nice to be away from people if that is your thing. The few minor comments I would say is the view from the back deck was nothing spectacular. The cabins in that area are pretty close so if there wasn't trees there would be no privacy. The bed frame was absolutely terrible in the fact that it squeaked and would wake me or my wife up in the night from how loud it was. Overall was it nice to get away and rest and relax, yes. Would I recommend it to anyone who wants to explore Gatlinburg/pigeon forge to do the tourist things, unfortunately no. If we would go again we'd plan more around the cabin or more things to bring to do at the cabin.
