'One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. 'Staff excellent from check-in to room cleaning!! Breakfast great! Small things like botteled water, packaged breakfast ( if you were in a rush) nice. ONLY drawback is no hot tub. Definitely recommend. Also price very good!!'

'My husband & I were both happy with the breakfast variety - fresh fruit, choices of juice, several kinds of pastries & biscuits with sausage patties or sausage gravy. Our room had a comfortable king size bed with 5 pillows, which actually gave us a choice of firmness, plus a sofa to sit & watch TV. WEe both really liked the unique building facade & the nice covered outside lounge area. I would recommend LA Quinta for a stay in Boone!'

'PROS: Friendly staff. The rooms were very clean. Bathroom was spotless. Amazing breakfast! A convenient two-minute drive to App State! CONS: The tiniest parking spaces I've ever seen at a hotel. Ridiculously narrow and short! A contractor's truck was sticking way out into one of the traffic aisle entrances and everyone had to maneuver around it. Might suggest contractor's staying overnight with large vehicles park at the end of the parking lot to avoid any future mishaps or accidents.'
