'I loved my stay at The 1850. It was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were some really sweet, personal touches. It's right downtown Boone so it's easy to walk to everything. Daniel and the Dog is a great little bar with delicious food too. The staff was responsive and parking was easy. I look forward to staying there again! '

'One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of...

'Het is er verschrikkelijk gehorig. Erg veel last van het verkeer buiten op straat. Hierdoor heel slecht en weinig geslapen. Het ontbijt was netjes. '

'Room was very small, but had fair sized bathroom. No dressers, no spare pillows. Breakfast was fine but area is very small. It was passable and if you just need somewhere for one night, the price is fair. I wouldn’t stay here much longer than that, though.'

'Awful! Broken items in room, very dirty, nothing like advertised. We’ve stayed in many places and this is by far the worst. We were given some room that looked NOTHING like the photos in the picture. As a matter of fact, the photos belong to a place close by, but not where they put us. Pls beware. '

'Breakfast was self serve however it was a full breakfast meal. From grits, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, waffles, bananas, apples, cereals, coffee, hot teas, etc. very good! '

'Veey clean and cozy! Love the cabin, I rated 4 stars as the check in instructions and website should be updated for off season. Our intro text talked about farm animals and then ended with "no animals at this time", same with the dinner Resturant, told to make reservations but then concludes with not available in off season. We were not upset but as constructive feedback to update the info for off season. Again we live the cabin and would happily come back!'
