Underwhelming and dirty
The location of this house is great. 5 min from the main street with shops and restaurants in Montecito. The backyard is also lovely and we saw a couple bunnies hopping around, which my daughter loved. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the house was not where it needed to be. We encountered 10-15 spiders in the house over 3 days. There were hairs in the bed. The house smelled musty (old carpets) and my white socks turned brown after walking around the inside of the house. The white towels smelled clean but needed to be replaced and werenât all white. From a communication perspective, there is a lack of personal connection from AvantStay. They mostly communicate from a central number so itâs hard to understand who youâre communicating with and there were long delays in replies. If location is the most important thing to you, this place could work. However, for nearly 1,000 the basics of cleanliness were not there.
