'We came in Fall for a quick getaway to explore the area. The Great Outpost was indeed, great!Our host were welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed and more, including the hot tub. Really cool place to stay. Close to Kernville, where they were having a community fall festival. So much fun! I would love to come back to ski. Thank you Fyza!!!! '

'This is a true hideaway!! Be prepared to drive a 7 mile twisted road to your cabin. Very quite. Nice place to walk. Best to take a few snacks or coffee for the morning because it’s a hoof to town. '

'We had a group of 14 guys for a men's retreat in November, staying for two nights. The house was exactly as described, providing plenty of beds and ample space for us. The game room was fantastic. Communication with Melina began well before the trip and remained clear and helpful throughout. The check-out instructions were easy to follow, and she was responsive to any concerns during our stay. One suggestion would be to have a larger trash can for recycling, as we had to separate our trash....

'We had an absolutely wonderful time! We loved the space, especially the big deck for stargazing and the creek for splashing around. There was AC throughout the house which made the hot days easy. This place is a total gem and only 12 minutes from town and the river! The only thing we would change for our next visit is that we would bring an extra air mattress as some of the fold out couches weren’t super comfortable. We are so glad we were able to stay here and we cannot wait until our next...
