'Could not stay here ...had to book into hotel. Not fit for human habitation.Awful smell if sewage downstairs. Hazardous steep dark unlit stairs tili mezzanine. Broken patio doors. "garden area" filthy and broken down. .with signs of snsmek faeces. '

'Turned up and the access instructions were totally wrong. Room hadn't been cleaned and the cleaning team arrived 30 mins after check in and let me in. Photos have clearly been staged many of the items pictured are not there and many of the items listed as amenities aren't there. No kettle, coffee machine, iron (but there is an ironing board!!). The apartment is looking worn and in need of some paint and many features need some repair - tap in kitchen sink is so wobbly, no plugs in sink or...

'I would have given this a full 5-star rating because it truly is a charming place and great location. Our only issue was finding the apartment. Make sure you can watch the entry video provided by the host, this place is tucked away in a very old building that is quite a maze. I will stay here again if I’m in the area! The host was very helpful.'

'The apartment is in a perfect location with a full street of restaurants backing directly onto the building. Access on arrival is difficult if you have large suitcases as there are five flights of stairs to get to the apartment. However, you only have to do this once and tradeoff is that you have a great view of the Basilica right from your lounge. The host is extremely helpful and we enjoyed our time in this apartment. '
