'The house is just as wonderful as others have said, and the hosts were super responsive by text without intruding in the least — we met Deidre only once & by chance, as it were. The house is definitely compact, but the space is well apportioned. Worth noting that *indoors* it’s all one acoustic space — upstairs or down, all sound is audible to all; and the kitchen is necessarily modest. 'Beautiful house and country landscape. The hosts were accommodating and responsive. The one helpful hint would be that the road is dirt with many pit holes and slight wash outs from storms so don’t take your low to the ground car on the road'

'The hotel was so charming and had such historic character. I was very comfortable and enjoyed the aesthetic. I did arrive in late evening (930 pm) on a Friday. Was welcomed and checked in. Did not realize that all the local restaurants, convenience stores, food carry out delivery closed by 8 pm. It would be nice to have a food option for hungry arrivala or let people know there won’t be anything available nearby after 8 pm. '

'We had a lovely stay at Mad River Valley. The location was perfect for our waterfall/swimming hole adventures and almost daily visits to downtown Waitsfield. The check-in was straight-forward and the home, as expected. Due to the unexpected scorching heat/humidity a couple of nights, the bedroom fans came in handy, as did the washer and dryer. Only regret was not checking out the wooded trails on the property as we spent all of our daytime hours adventuring and exploring nearby. It was a nice...

'My husband and I stayed here for one night during this beautiful fall season. Peter met us when we arrived and showed us around and was very accommodating. The layout of the church is wide open. With antiques, unique collectibles, and interesting artifacts that were placed to be aesthetic to the eye.
