This charming apartment is located in Piazza della Cancelleria, in the heart of Rome: between Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori. It’s perfect for relaxing, dining, and daydreaming… and you can explore Rome in all its splendor on foot!<br><br>The apartment is on the first floor (no elevator, but I assure you you won’t need one—there’s just one flight of stairs!) of a very old building in the center of Rome. The apartment has a security door, hardwood floors, and exposed wooden beams. It consists of an entryway with a one-and-a-half-person sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table and 4 chairs. In a storage room adjacent to the kitchen, there’s a large window, a washing machine, and a laundry area where you can hang your laundry both outside and inside the apartment. The bathroom has a large shower and the characteristic bricks typical of the city center. The main room features a living area, a double bed, and a sofa (for a total of 3–4 sleeping spots in the living room and one in the kitchen; opening the sofa bed reduces the kitchen space). There are large closets, a bookshelf, and the main window—which overlooks Piazza della Cancelleria—is large and bathed in sunlight (a rarity in the center of Rome!). The atmosphere is quiet and private.<br>In short, see for yourself!<br><br>Guests can cook if they wish, surf the internet, relax on a comfortable sofa, or drift off to sleep on a cozy bed!<br><br>Both my husband Fabrizio and I interact a lot with our guests (if they’d like!) because we love Rome and hospitality; when we’re on vacation, we like to be treated the way we treat our guests: with simplicity, professionalism, order, cleanliness, and cheerfulness.<br><br>What do we love about our neighborhood? EVERYTHING! Living in Campo de’ Fiori means breathing in the true spirit of Rome!<br><br>Around our home, you won’t have enough time (or I hope you do!) to see everything, everything, everything: from the classic Piazza Navona to the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain (to name just a few of the most famous spots…); or, in the other direction, St. Peter’s Basilica, Castel Sant’Angelo, and the Janiculum Hill; and in yet another direction, Piazza Venezia, the Imperial Forums, the Colosseum, and the list goes on and on. On a beautiful sunny day, there’s nothing stopping you from renting a bike and riding all the way to the sea along the Tiber River.. In short, in the most beautiful city in the world, you’ll just have to decide how to spend your time. <br><br>Getting to the house is very easy and convenient from any train station or airport, by bus, tram, or taxi. <br><br>If you’re arriving by plane, we can recommend the best ways to reach this area of central Rome. Any taxi will take you from Fiumicino Airport in about 45 minutes for a flat rate of 55€.<br>If you’re arriving by train, buses #40 or #64 from Termini Station are perfect for getting to the house, or you can take a taxi for about 10–15€, and you’ll be home in about 10–15 minutes!
