« This is a Marston's Pub/Diner with a separate accommodation block. It's a bit out of the centre of Aberystwyth but has plenty of onsite parking. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The "Pub" is really a restaurant, often with no seating to just have a drink. If you want an evening meal there, book it. Food is standard pub fare, but the Staff, who double as Reception and Bar Staff were very good. »

« We had an absolutely lovely weekend staying at The Royal Oak. The location was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The scenery was breathtaking and we had a lovely view from our room. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. This is a traditional pub, very cosy and again nicely decorated but retaining its traditional charm. The landlord and landlady were extremely helpful. Above all, this is dog friendly accommodation, a must for us. We would definitely stay here again. »
