Pensions in Wheeler Peak Wilderness Area

'My husband and I spent two nights during the off season (late September) and everything was perfect. Most of the amenities in the ski village itself were already closed, but the resort was quiet, the hot tub was open, the restaurant served us daily, and the setting (nestled in the crest of the mountains) was amazing. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a great stay in a beautiful location. We Loved it.'

'The bathrooms were dirty. Urine on toilets, hair in sinks, and shower. Hair on floor. Hair in all 4 beds, not only on top but in between covers. Long black curly hair! Also pet hair! Disgusting! Who would want to sleep in that? I’m assuming the beds were simply maid and sheets not changed. Called management. Didn’t hear anything back until the next day and was contacted by text. No call. They sent someone to clean ONE bathroom but that was it. Didn’t clean the other bathroom or change the...

'This charming little cabin was a hit with the kids. They thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the cozy wood-burning stove. '

'No issuesHome met our needs well.'

'Great location and very clean.'

'Everything was great!'

'Overall we had a very pleasant experience. The location is wonderful. It's just a little ways out of town, which made it peaceful and quiet, and the views were absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider staying again. There were a couple of things worth mentioning for future guests and the owners. The house is smaller than what we anticipated but luckily we are a close family and really didn't have any problems. Masterbath is really small. This might be an...

'The property was great, beautiful scenery, very peaceful. I’ve stayed at many places and one thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t any extra towels, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags or even extra pillows or blankets, there were 8 of us so we had to pretty much buy extra supplies which like I said we never had to do that at any other place we have rented. '

'We absolutely loved this property. We came to Red River for spring break & shared the home with another family. The layout was perfect & all the items the house had made it very comfortable for us to stay! The property was beautiful! Would definitely recommend and stay here again! Checkin process was easy and they kept in touch with us throughout our stay! '

'Coffee pot was real slow and no water pressure'

'I was happy we booked a place just outside of town; it ended up being very peaceful and quiet. The house was cozy and in a beautiful area. We slept well and our pup enjoyed exploring the woods behind the house. No complaints! '

'Great house! We had wonderful weather but if they get snow, you will definitely need 4 wheel drive or chains! Thanks for a great stay!'

'This is a beautiful log home and had all the room our large family required. The home was clean and had plenty of towels for showering and for use with the delightful hot tub. We enjoyed all of the outdoor deck space and the use of the Blackstone grill. We have just two complaints. 1.Electrical in the house was not reliable in some places. One outlet in the downstairs bedroom worked very spotty, but most of the time it did not work. Also the ceiling fan in that room only worked part of the time....

'Home was in good condition and all amenities were present. The microwave went out and the host promptly replaced it with a new one.'

'This place is great! Perfect veiw and nice big gravel parking area. Definitely will be back. '
