'It's a really cool spot back in the woods but close to a lot of parks and Grand Marais. The roads are gravel, but pretty well graded. It has good power and lots of cozy additions like throw blankets, nice chairs, a great fire pit, and a really cool upper deck to have breakfast on. We didn't use the grill, but there is one there.The sauna is pretty nice. It's close to the house, but far enough away that you have privacy while sharing it with the other cabin. 'We loved Jo's place. Very comfortable, and "easy to operate" because she gives great instructions. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed a bonfire out back, and spent a lot of time on the back porch, or in front of the stone fireplace. We made all of our breakfasts and a few meal there. The kitchen is well stocked with useful tools and appliances. Highly recommend it to anyone!'

'I took my girlfriend there for weekend retreat exploring the nearby waterfalls and border. All within a short drive. The cabin is very cute, cozy, and peaceful. Gorgeous night skies. The only negative i can think of was the driveway. Extremely steep. Must have all wheel drive or 4x4. But, to be fair it does mention that in the description. '
