'This place was by far the best place we ever had up North. Secluded but not isolated, you feel like at the tip end end of the Northshore! Close to Gooseberry and the lighthouse, few miles away from our favorite pie place, stunning view, awesome beach, fire on the beach, beautiful wooden house, fully equipped. And last but not the least: flawless communication with the manager. Our visiting family was so amazed, and we are greatful to have found this gem. Hope to go back again😀'

'This is a quite retreat for anyone looking to get away from the hustle of life. Beautiful view of Lake Superior, no neighbors, woodsy, clean, and well stocked. It is close to the Splitrock lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls, which we enjoyed very much. After a cold hike, warming up with the fireplace and coffee was just the ticket. 'We rented the lodge to celebrate our union ceremony and were absolutely blown away by the lodge. The pictures really do not do this gem service, it’s all the better in person. Family was breath taken by the river view and the splendor of the lodge. With 16 people it felt absolutely comfortable and not in any way crowded. The stay blew our expectations away! It was the north shore location of my dreams.'

'We loved our stay here. This was our second time. It is truly glamping. Tents are warm, beds are comfy, the little details of games, bear box filled with all the cooking supplies, happy hours, sauna and games available. Such an epic experience. The staff are so nice, helpful and informative of local hiking food and more. We will be back again!! '
