« We arrived at 10:30 pm; the main entrance was locked, so we had to check-in through a window. With freeway traffic, it was too noisy to hear the desk clerk, who only mouthed “license” & “card”, took our cards & left, later returning to bring us room keys & say “thanks”. No instructions on where the room was, parking, WiFi, etc. The room was clean, & the bedding looked new, but the furniture was older & weathered. You could feel a bit of humidity, so the bed sheets felt slightly sticky/damp...

« I reserved this room months ago for our trip. Day of the trip, i get an email from my credit card about a potential fraud alert from a charge from motel 6. I immediately the hotel to give them the card number again and they told me they canceled my reservation and if i still wanted it, I could walk in and they MIGHT have a room. So, they canceled my reservation the same day I was supposed to check in, because my card declined, and they didnt try to run it again or call me, and instead...
