'The hosts were very communicative and welcoming before, during, and after our stay. The front yard was well lit, and good for taking our pups out at night. I was grateful to find somewhere available over Christmas that accepted two dogs. The kitchen was well-equipped and reasonably clean. This is a pet-friendy rental near the beach, the overall cleanliness of the unit was perhaps reflective of that. The house is right off of a busy road in a neighborhood with varied levels of upkeep.'

'We loved our stay at Salty Vibes cottage! It is in a great location- just a short walk to the beach and the Wright Brothers memorial. We loved the attention to detail in each bedroom with artwork and books about local sites and history. The set up with one bedroom and bath on the main floor and two bedrooms and a bath on the top floor were perfect for us. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need and nice, new appliances. "This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
