'I recently stayed at LEGOLAND Hotel California in a Pirate-themed room, and while my kids were initially very excited, the experience started off on a disappointing note. 'A one day getaway is good enough for this place honestly nice lake resort with good restaurants nice pools. Staff some were good one of them was just lazy to do anything for us but overall the rest of the staff was very nice. A lot bugs from the lake tho. The coffee shop they had at the resort was never open although it said they’re open 24/7 I went couple times during the day and it wasn’t open'

'Breakfast was good and the fire outside on during the day and evening was wonderful. Pool was clean and warm. The staff was courteous. One thing that would’ve been nice is if coffee had been available in the lobby outside of the breakfast time which it wasn’t. They told me to go up in my room and use the coffee maker there. I really enjoy being able to get coffee in the lobby and sometimes sit down there as well working on my computer. That and the cups they have for water are paper cones, which...
