'The first room smelled like smoke, it was changed, but the new one still had a slight smell of cigarettes. I get in the room and there was not remote but the man brung it only for the tv to still not work. None of the appliances were working. '

'The place and the rooms are lovely. However a couple details were not the best. There is no coffee in the room and the hot water heater would not turn on. Also I had asked for a wake up call, but then there was no wake up call on the date requested. Staff is lovely though and included breakfast was great.'

'Booked this hotel thru Expedia and got a very good price. It is just around the corner from the Hartford train and bus stations so it's wonderfully convenient. Just a few issues - First, the front door on Asylum Street is locked, with no sign to tell folks to walk around to the side entrance. Second - when we opened the door to our room, we found that IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED after the previous guests checked out - bed not made, used towels all over the bathroom (!)
