'Stayed four nights. Lovely setting in the rain forest. The Cabin (turtle lodge, comfort bungalow) felt private. Sounds of the wildlife, wonderful. Nice deck overlooking the property. The manager Zayro was very friendly (along with the other staff) and helpful organising a tour into the Corcovado National Park. Room was much smaller than I expected (had to put my case in the bathroom) with a very basic kitchen, utensils and crockery (things such as a plug for the sink, a sharp knife, fish slice,...

'Lis and Dan were very sweet and welcoming. The amenities were clean and true to the description. You are open to the jungle, in the best way. It was beautiful and we had a wonderful stay.'

'We had a fantastic stay at Surfside! Peter was a stellar host…welcoming, friendly, very knowledgeable. We highly recommend booking tours with him. The big hike up to Bosque Del Cabo, the beach, and the waterfall was so memorable. Don’t pass it up if you have the opportunity! The jungle is magic. And our day of kayaking was just amazing. 'The owners ar Cabinas Pura Vida are extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us. They let us park our car while visiting Corcovado National Park overnight and helped us get a free taxi to catch our boot. The rooms are simple, but not expensive. They have a nice common area and a fridge for guests to use. The breakfast was good and it was not problem to serve it an hour earlier than their usual time because we had to catch our boot. '
