'It was off season for the water activities but that didn’t change the view or ability for the kids to play in the sand being right on the beach. We were able to spread out in the house as needed. Easy access to I-64'

'Wonderful owners with phenomenal communication. They were very patient and super responsive to messages. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Property had everything we needed and more and was steps from the ocean. The beach itself was private and not crowded at all. This was our 2nd time staying and will definitely not be our last.'

'We love when VRBO hosts know how dogs can be an important part of the family! This was a very cute beach house that would suit a large family well. We enjoyed the beach access and the proximity to all that Norfolk has to offer. The host provided clear instructions for arrival and departure and the house included all that we needed for a weekend getaway. '

Actually there are only 1 double and 1 single. No worries though we made it work and it was perfect for us. Will probably book again if y’all will have us.Thanks for letting us stay.'

'Stay was very enjoyable. Close proximity to the beach, but does require crossing a main road. Home was very clean. Two minor inconveniences but did not impact overall trip. One could’ve been user error. Could not get outlets to work in one of the rooms and the second was a light bulb went out in a bathroom which we swapped with another extra bulb in a different room. '

'We loved staying at Sandy Mutts ! Communication was great , location and access to the beach was convenient and perfect as well. We only stayed for a couple of nights but it was just what we needed. We brought our chihuahua and kitty along and they were comfortable and happy. We did bring our own towels and it worked for us. I will definitely be coming back. '

'Very, very nice stay - a short walk to the beach, and wonderful hosts - we forgot to empty a drawer of a few personal things and they found them and said they would mail them back to us. Very grateful for that. Full kitchen, laundry and just beautiful overall. It was a first floor level to a home rather than a separate cottage but even my teenage son said it was an awesome house to stay in. Thoroughly enjoyed our week there and wanted to stay much longer. '

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
