'There was no reception on site. Apparently it was mentioned in the booking but when you travel for three weeks and checkin/out almost daily we didn’t noticed. Also, some other locations gave us directions/messages before arrival and this location didn’t. On site we had to call a remote reception. From there on all went smoothly though. Room was clean and all necessities were there. It’s by the marina. Parking is easy on site. '

'This place is truly amazing! We were greeted by one of the owners who went over the specifics. He pointed out an eagle sitting in a nearby tree just waiting for her dinner to swim by in the river bordering the yurt. So comfy, quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again.'

'This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside.'

'Great home! The kitchen had everything we needed including delicious coffee and a dishwasher!Bedding was so comfortable and the towels were fluffy. One day was rainy, so we snuggled on the comfortable couch and watched movies. The house was right outside the park which was perfect!!Great backyard looking at the mountains!!'

'Great little unit that was spacious and easy to find. Close to Baddeck with easy access to the rest of the island. Little playground for the kids was a nice touch, especially when the parents were trying to pack up. We did notice that the fridge didn't seem to be cleaned from the last guest. 'Staying here was good for my soul. The loft was decorated in a simply beautiful and welcoming manner and had everything that we needed in a small space. There were so many lovely touches that made our stay perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting outside to see the stars. Visiting with Doug was a joy and he made us feel at home. I wish that we would have had more time to stay.'
