'We stayed at The Lodge for one night and it was fantastic! We walked about 5-10 minutes to get to dining and shopping. The pool and hot tub were clean and ready for us in the evening. The room itself was very well appointed with coffee and a little welcome basket! Very nice stay. Highly recommend!'

'The cabin itself was great and our family had a great time. There is a snowstorm that came through while we were there and was impressed how quickly the streets and our driveway were plowed the next day. Would come again!'

'We very much enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would have been more helpful is more clarity on the location and check-in process. We had to dig through the fine print to find the location and called to discover it was a front desk checkin. Just suggest making that more prominent in the confirmation email. '

'Northstar units are generally old. This unit was also old, but has updated appliances, which was nice. The longer dining table and two full couches were also nice to have. They do not have benches for the dining table as shown in their pictures. They only have four chairs. The unit was in the perfect location. So physically, the unit was great. However, the management was not great. The person who gave us the keys was very sarcastic. His office was a total mess. I thought I went to the wrong...

'Wonderful, clean, comfortable with a gracious and helpful host. The apartment looks out to the pond and stays quite cool even in the heat of summer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would easily book it again. '

'The place was absolutely amazing very clean, close to everything. Great location and very convenient to walk everywhere. The only negative thing (not the fault of the host) delivery trucks parked right on Poplar Street and had engine idle for 45 minutes, while delivering goods to Maggie’s restaurant across the street, we had to close our windows to keep engine exhaust from getting in the Chalet and to cut down on the noise. '

'The view was breathtaking. Only complaint was shower would run out of hot water during shower. Otherwise very romantic for couples.'

'We absolutely loved our time here. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The forest view was lovely and yet we were so close to the Heavenly Gondola. We had 5 adults and 4 children in the 6 bedroom Villa #11. We had a lovely view of the forest out the back and the Gondolas out the front corner windows. The listing does need to be updated for accuracy though. On the negative side there was no desk (although the listing said there was one). But, on the up side, the 6 bedroom listing said 4...

'The place is very nice. Extremely clean, good amenities, and a wonderfully roomy and comfortable bed. So many fun things to do within a short area. We look forward to staying here again.'

Forest Suites Resort at Heavenly Village

"This place hasn’t been updated since the 70ies. Our room had a really bad smell. The sleeping couch was worn and torn. The furniture was uncomfortable. The bed was fine. There were some coloring stains on the duvet. The floor was very uneven and there were cracks in the ceiling. The windows couldn’t be opened since the insect screens were torn and there was so much dirt and cobwebs between the screen and the window. It really felt dirty. The laundry room floor was really dirty and the waste bin was overflowing. Two out of four machines were out of service. The swimming pool was dirty. Haven’t seen anyone clean it in three days and you couldn’t even see the bottom. The breakfast was ok. However next to the price for the room you have to pay a resort fee per person per day. Which makes you wonder where they’re using all that money for. It’s not being put in updating or cleaning any facilities or rooms. I wouldn’t recommend this place. "
