« This property is the cutest cottage - an older home that has been updated but still keeping with it's original details and charm. My 91 YO dad loved it - it was very nostalgic for him. I would have loved to stay a bit longer just to soak in the nostalgia. I would highly recommend this property, it is walking distance to several of the Mayberry sights. If I am in the area for an overnight, I will stay here again. »

« The house and property are quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed a few sunsets in front of the fire pit. The weather wasn’t great while we were there so unfortunately we didnt get to enjoy the lake life more. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. We were also greeted with their lovable boys. The pups just wanted to hang out with us and get pets. I would love to visit again. »

« Great house, yard, dock, view, location, and very responsive hosts. When we weren't on the boat, we spent most of our waking hours on the covered deck, with ceiling fans to keep us comfortable. The yard was great for cornhole, badminton and CanJam. Would rent this house again! »

« The property was very nice and charming. The hosts gave plenty of touches to make it feel like home, and super comfortable. They also provided different forms of entertainment, such as books, games, and roku on each television. The check in was easy, and the host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, but still close to everything we needed. Overall, a great stay! »

« A little quirky but great place for large groups. Kitchen was spacious with all the needed appliances with lots of extras.It's always nice to have 2 refrigerators and 2 ovens. The pool and deck set up was great and used often. We took the pontoon out at least 4 or 5 times and the kids loved it. We would return in the future. Our host, Steve, was very responsive and very quickly took care of any issues.Definitely recommend. »
