'The accommodation was in a lovely village near plenty of other places of interest. The pub was great and the staff were all very good and the food was excellent. The room and facilities were also good. The simple reason for the average rating is that our room had an air conditioner unit on the wall right outside our window which was very noisy. I asked about this after the first night and they were aware of this but I was told unfortunately it was needed to cool the cellar. This was going on and...

'Staff was very helpful'

'Very comfortable. Clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.'

'Staff were really great and welcoming. Water pressure wasn’t great but otherwise it was a lovely stay Thankyou.'

'We took a bad start as the property was without electricity when we arrived (a problem of the whole area) but after that was solved, everything in our stay was perfect; The host gives us friendly service of breakfast and the restaurant was FABULOUS, with nice wines and excellent food. I had lobster and enjoyed every bit of it. The garden is pleasant to sit in with a good beer, they have several good beers on tap. I would stay again.'

'Great position for the Scillonian the next morning Very limited evening food menu. I had fish and chips but the mushy peas were so hot I burnt the roof of my mouth Waitress was friendly but the room didn’t really have a sea view as advertised'

'Nou ik vond het spannend om boven een pub te slapen. Maar dit was echt niet nodig. Wat een super mooie kamer. Heel erg schoon en netjes. Modern ingericht. Vriendelijk ontvangst. Je hebt geen geluidsoverlast. In de ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt, je mag zelf kiezen wat je wilt. Ik zou hier zeker aan tafen om te verblijven.'
