The gardens are also lovely, not overly manicured, lovely to stroll around, although difficult to keep the keep the dog out of the pond - but perhaps I shouldn't mention that! « I specifically booked this property for its private, secure garden and position to a beach. Also the reviews said how peaceful it was. The garden was perfect for us and our dog, with lots of sunshine, the lane the cottage is on was very quiet and we had a lovely 45 minute walk to Freshwater East via the lane and a cut through coastal footpath to the beach.
