This experience was a disaster from the get go. We had 3 nights booked for 4 of us. We had ZERO communication from the host ( and still haven’t had any ). My 7 year old daughter and myself sat in front of the property for 2.5 hours because nobody had told us how to access the property, and my numerous messages went unanswered. I had to get someone from Canada to call the toll free number for Vrbo to try and get me access. Once we finally got into to properly, it was very apparent that the floors hadn’t been cleaned. Hair, dirt, crumbs, and ants were present. The pictures posted on the ad are very different to how the property looks now. It’s much more run down. The shower didn’t drain, which made it overflow and made the shower floor very slippery. There was ZERO information given on the property. How to check out, any special instructions, or even the wifi password. There was literally a garbage bag full of ‘clean’ towels on the table, and that’s it. I had messaged the host numerous times, and received no response, and still haven’t. The worst part is that the pull out couch is completely broken. Which resulted in 2/4 of us having to book a hotel, because the bed couldn’t even be slept in. We are not overly picky. I have stayed in some very questionable beds and camping cots in my life, and I’m pretty adaptable, but neither myself nor my 7 year old could sleep in this bed. It was completely collapsed in the center. Could write more, ran out of space.
