'Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.'

'Verblijf mag schoner incl. afzuigpunt in badkamer en tja....kitten van de badkamer was super slecht. Richard was best aardig en vriendelijk maar vreemd blijft wel dat je 's morgens zélf naar de supermarkt moet om je broodje te halen met beleg terwijl ontbijt in de prijs zit, schijnt meeneem ontbijt te zijn.....verder doodsaai dorpje '

'This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, the room was expansive and beautiful, the shower was like being under a warm waterfall, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was divine even if my eyes were bigger than my belly. I would highly recommend staying here and I might do so again in future. '

'Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. '
