« The first night, we killed one large cockroach in the bathroom, and thought that was the only one. Just before bed, a large roach started crawling down the wall from the loft area. We called the front desk to ask for a room change. As we waited for them to answer, 3 more large roaches crawled out from behind the curtains. The person working the front desk said that there were no other rooms, and asked if we would like maintenance to spray pesticides. I declined, as I didn't want to breath it...

Very good location, in walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. The feel of the town's Bavarian theme is absolutely charming, and The Helendorf certainly captures that very well. The toilet had not been cleaned or flushed when I arrived. When I woke in the morning and went into the bathroom a bug was crawling on the floor. The room smelled like mold. »
