Disappointing - Poor management & flooding

Our family comes to calypso yearly and this was the most disappointing condo of them all. We arrived and the A/C was broken so the room was very warm. The condo did not come stocked with basics so we had to go buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, etc and they did not even provide a broom (the sand alone should require it) then a few days in, the condo flooded from their toilet. This problem started around 10pm and until about 3am we were waiting for help, maintenance, shop vacs, etc and with having a toddler and baby crying from fear of the loud noises, sounds, and flooding was distressing. We had to relocated in the middle of the night with babys and wet and damaged items. I called management and they would not cover any of our damages from their fault. I only asked for them to cover my baby’s canopy tent, and our nicer shoes like our converse and sneakers. We had wet items we spend the next day trying to launder and hang dry and I was very disappointed by the rudeness of the staff and not helping. We were thankful to move rooms but the inconvenience of packing and unpacking and dealing with this was not fun. Over all, I would not recommend this place and would not stay here again.

Calypso 1607 East Was Excellent As Advertised

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our visit. Awesome view of the beach and pier. Practically across the street from Pier Park so it’s an easy walk. A great location if you want to park your car and walk to restaurants, shops, and entertainment. We only took the car out of the parking garage once as we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend!

AC could only hold 80. Beds were bad. Door in bedroom is coming off hinges. Over all I expected more. When a holiday inn can beat you on AC and beds you need to step it up. Is there another unit I could book next time that is better?

Warren Beach Rentals was a dream to deal with from start to finish and helped us in any way they could. The staff was just incredible! They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay! The condo was absolutely beautiful, clean and well equipped with everything! The beds were extremely comfortable! The arcade machine in the condo was fun to play! Beach Service that came with the condo was definitely a plus! The building was well maintained, clean, and secure. We couldn’t have dreamed of staying in a better location! Walking distance to Pier Park and many other restaurants! Easy check in and check out! We will definitely stay again!

Needs to improve!

There were somes things that needs improvement! I purchased 2 parking pass and they didn’t work the way it’s supposed to and talking to the guy at the parking lot it’s something that was happening through out the whole day! So a lot of people complaining about the same thing! The AC at the unit wasn’t working properly! The maintenance guy had to come and fix it and after he left stopped working again and I sent a message to the person responsible with no reply. The maintenance guy said that if the ac goes out again for us to switch the electrical key off and on again and that’s what we had to do through out our stay at this unit to have at least a cool environment to sleep. The condo location is perfect! Close to Walmart, liquor stores, pier park and etc. i just thing it needs those things to be taken care of so I could give a 5 stars.

Everything was great, including the location, cleanliness and of course the condo itself. However, during our stay a chair broke, one of the legs that had been held to the chair itself by brackets had come loose again and my mother fell to the floor. Luckily she was okay, however it is not okay to stick us with a substantial additional charge for something that had obviously been repaired before, seeing that none of the other chair legs were being held on by brackets. All in all a good vacation.
