« Rivers Edge Retreat has been one of the best places we have stayed during our travels. Better than advertised and owner spares no expense with the HIGH quality of everything inside and out. Distance to town was perfect drive, got to see elk herd on way home from dinner about 5:45-6pm on 335 road to house. We dont see them in Texas so it was very neat. « This cabin was the perfect basecamp for a couple of days of skiing at Purgatory. Completely private and just minutes from the resort, it’s ideally located between Durango and Silverton.The cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
