Woonboten in Ozarks

'After tent camping in Heber Springs since 1988, we came upon this lodge due to thunderstorms predicted. This was my best and favorite experience there. The cabin was spacious for everyone and the view of The Little River is breathtaking. My family enjoyed the guided fishing tours all inclusive. It stormed hard all night long and we enjoyed the rain on the tin roof instead of floating in our tents. The Lucky Trout Lodge is our new favorite family tradition. 'Our stay at Hotel Frederick was really nice. I love the historic building and love all of the antique furniture. My husband actually wished there was an iron so he could iron his pants, but there was not, and no hangers in the armoire. But, those things are trivial. The sheets were super soft. There was even music that weekend in the downstairs bar.'
