You have access to the entire house except for storage cabinets/closets that have been clearly locked.
Other things to note
CLEANING FEE:
So there is no miscommunication, we collect a cleaning fee to get the house ready for your stay; it is NOT to clean up during or after your stay. If this is an automatic negative in your book, then sadly this place may not be right for you. So prior to checkout, we do ask you to take care of the following TO-DO LIST:

-start the dishwasher

-throw trash (including personal items from the fridge) in trash bins located outside by the driveway.

-put all used bath, beach, and kitchen towels in the laundry baskets inside the garage, next to the washer & dryer.

FAQs

EARLY CHECK-IN?
We automatically contact you at least a couple of hours before your arrival to let you know if an early check-in is available. But expect no earlier than 3 pm during our peak seasons (Spring & Summer).

LATE CHECK-OUT?
We automatically contact you the night before your departure to let you know if a late check out is available. But expect no later than 11 am during our peak seasons (Spring & Summer).

DO YOU ALLOW LUGGAGE DROP-OFF OR CAR PARKING FOR EARLY ARRIVALS OR LATE DEPARTURES?
No, we cannot be responsible for your personal belongings or have our cleaning crew interrupted while preparing the house.

No, we need the garage/driveway for the cleaning crew since parking on our street is not allowed for us.

HOW CLOSE IS THE BEACH?
The beach is 40 barefoot steps to the beach -- 2 houses to the right and you're on sand!

CAN WE HAVE FRIENDS/FAMILY COME FOR A VISIT?
Guests are welcome to visit you during your stay but based on the size of the house, Ventura County allows only a maximum of 12 people TOTAL during the day. Only 8 people maximum can stay overnight during the Quiet Hours of 10 pm – 7 am.

CAN WE BRING OUR OWN FIREPIT TO USE AT THE BEACH?
No, fires are illegal at our beaches.

IS THERE A GROCERY STORE NEARBY?
Yes, there are several grocery and convenience stores nearby. Message us if you'd like a list sent to you prior to your arrival.

IS THERE A COFFEE SHOP AND RESTAURANT NEARBY?

DO YOU OFFER A CLEANING SERVICE?
Yes, we can schedule additional cleaning services for longer stays, at an added cost.

CAN I BOOK ON BEHALF OF A FRIEND, FAMILY MEMBER, OR CO-WORKER?
No, it is against Airbnb's policy. We need the person staying at the house to actually be on file as having paid and booked the stay. We realize you may want to use your credit card. What you can do work around this is buy an Airbnb gift card that they can use to book the stay.
