B&B in West Texas

'I loved this well-appointed, stylish hotel in Archer City, 30 minutes from Wichita Falls. I stayed one night before the Hotter N Hell 100 recently and can't say enough about the accommodations and service. The hostess was very thoughtful and went out of her way to make sure I had a good experience, providing a place to store my bike overnight and providing a goodie bag with water and snacks the morning of the ride. The room was comfortable, with good quality mattress, towels, and toiletries. I...

'Adorable, historical and friendly. Charming place with an excellent staff!'

'Perfect small town B&B in the perfect location to walk around town or drive to the Fossil Park, Clark Gardens Botanical Center, etc.'

'Nice older hotel and usually pretty quiet during previous stays, this last time was not as quiet as there were kids running around. Over all a good stay though.'

'Very clean room with easy check in and check out. Staff was friendly and the location itself is beautiful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious! I I’ll definitely consider staying here again. 5 out of 5!'

'Wanda is an absolute gem of a person and an excellent cook. The room was comfortable and I really enjoyed having my own personal a/c unit. Location was extremely convenient with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. If I’m ever in the area again this is where I will be staying.'

'Clean and hospitable '

'Absolutely loved this place and only wish we had more time. Came in late Saturday and had to leave early Sunday morning. Kitschy, artistic and well maintained. Wanted to learn everything about the whole place. Next time we’ll eat at the fabulous farm to table restaurant'

'The area was cozy and comfortable! The host was very accommodating and responded quickly as well. This spot is nice is beautiful off Lake Travis and is nice if you enjoy being outdoors'

'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....

'The Evers House was a delightful weekend getaway. The Bliss Suite was comfortable. The room was quiet. The breakfast in a picnic basket was cute and plenty for light breakfast people. Could use a juice in the basket for non coffee drinkers. Parking was easy and on property. Great location for walking shops and restaurants on Main Street. Staff is not on property but if anything was needed it was taken care of quickly. Bed was comfortable.'

'Great spot especially for a couple day getaway! Great host and overall experience! '

'It was exactly what we needed'
