« Old Town Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. The cottage was spotless and very comfortable . The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. We loved that it’s a very short walk into town where there were many nice places to eat. It’s centrally located in the Black Hills so Mt. Rushmore, Sylvan Lake State Park and many other popular activities are a short drive. »

« What an adorable property! We arrived late evening but check in was a breeze and I couldn’t stop carrying on about how cute this small space was. Great for singles or couples. A short walk to Black Hills State University where we watched our boys run track. My favorite thing about Spearfish has got to be the rec walking paths. I got up early every morning and hit the path, which runs along the Spearfish Creek. Really lovely parks and surrounding areas. We walked to local restaurants (Dough...

« The creekside cabin is a lovely spot for family. Cozy decor and thoughtful touches throughout make for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the ability to relax on the deck while the kids enjoyed the playground. Cooking at home kept our costs lower and we enjoyed walking into town for treats. This is the perfect spot from which to enjoy Custer State Park, Wind Cave, and more. »

« the listing says you will have the property to yourself, it isn't true! the owners were living upstairs and they were home... when we got there, it looked like they weren't expecting us. patio furniture was tipped over, dirty dishes on the grill, some random garbage in the yard... there was no chain or lock on the inside so the owners had access to the unit at all times. didn't feel safe at all... we shared concerns with hotels.com and the owners and they didn't seem concerned at all about...

« What a unique stay! Close to town for dinner. Nice setting for the cold plunge pool, and the bed was comfortable. Enjoyed watching the deer while sitting by the fire. »

« It is a great setup for a mid size group. We had 6 people and had plenty of room. Centrally located in the Northern Hills, lots to do close by. Very peaceful setting, neighbors were extremely quiet, (backs up to cemetery) and lots of parking for trailers. »

« The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the property. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. Beds were very comfy and house is stocked with all of the essentials. »

« Great stay, beautiful property, very clean. We are runners and gravel cyclists and loved the area for that. We played games in the big yard and had a few outdoor fires in the fire pit. »
