This house was perfect for our group size for 6 days. It was laid out very nice and everyone had their own bathroom. The community pool was super close and within walking distance which we loved. The house pool was great, as well as the hot tub, which we did heat for an additional $60. My husband decided to turn that on on the second day in the afternoon and the heat did not come on until the next evening late night so that did not make us too happy that it took so long. But once it was on, it was hot! There was only 1 lounge chair to lay out on which was annoying since one day, 2 of us adults wanted to lay in the sun while the children swam. The other had to sit in a an upright chair which isn’t as comfortable when trying to lounge and get tan. There were a few things that broke as soon as we got there. The icemaker was making crazy noises, the upstairs kids bedroom curtain rod fell off when they tried to open the curtains, a chair leg caved in when one of our guests sat down. Luckily, she did not get hurt. When we looked underneath the chair, it looks like someone had already tried to fix it, but didn’t do a great job. Lastly, inside the downstairs closet, there were a number of items that were broken and stuffed in the closet, including a broken lamp and a beanbag chair with a hole in it which made little white balls escape and scatter all over the first floor. I called the number to report all these issues, so they knew it wasn’t us. They asked if they could have permission to come in if we were not home and I gave them permission. But later when we were away at the pool, they left me a message which I saw later after we got back that they tried to stop by but nobody answered and that they needed permission to come in, even though I gave them permission already. These were not issues that affected our stay, except the icemaker, but we just went ahead and bought a bag of ice so it wasn’t a big deal. We were just worried that they would think all these issues were caused from us, which they were not, as we always respect any house we rent. I guess that’s the chance you take renting a house where things can break with normal use. We just didn’t think it would be that many things. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, pans, utensils and drinkware. The only thing we wished the kitchen had was a few pizza pans to cook frozen pizzas on. We had to cook them directly on the oven rack. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
