'We arrived late from the Shetland Ferry. Instructions to get in were clear. We had a private room but no towels, they were complimentary but had to be provided for by staff and upon arrival there was no staff… so we could not shower in the evening. All was clean and working well. Room was clean and effective - but could be made more friendly by just putting up some pictures or Orkney fotos.. that would really make a difference. 'It was a pleasure to stay with Shona this week. Very friendly and prompt communication. Upon arrival was a friendly welcome and tour of the property which was modernly styled, very spacious, and immaculate. The large kitchen has no shortage of storage, fridge/freezer space, very large oven, hobs, pans, crockery, utensils etc. and spacious dining area for 8, couldn't ask for more!!! Add to that an ideal location which is right next to the ferry port (first house on the left when leaving the ferry...
