'Beautiful lake, beautiful property, nice hiking'

'Great spot on the pond! Wonderful place for couple or one person to stay. The dogs loved the fenced in yard and so did we. Home had everything we needed to make meals. Also had many of the small things like coffee filters, foil, a few zip lock bags etc that saved us having to pick up. We heard loons throughout our stay, and saw a bald eagle fly over the pond a few times. Its 10 minutes from Augusta, grocery less than 6 miles away. Communication was great with host. 'This is a wonderful, very private property with easy access to the water. Communication with the owner was great. The lake was generally quiet, and there were a few days when I was the only one out there on my kayak. The property was spacious enough to take the dogs for a couple walks a day and never have to leave the property. We were thrilled to find 2 organic farms/markets within about 10 miles and didn’t need to venture out further than that. The house was well stocked with everything we...

'We had such a relaxing stay at this cabin. The property is incredibly peaceful, and the neighbors are friendly but respectful of privacy. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with essentials like paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and large towels, which made settling in so easy. It’s a great spot for guests of all ages, and we truly felt at home. We’re already planning to book this cabin again next year!'

'The view was beautiful, listening to the Loons was so peaceful. The water was great for the kids to play at the water and use the Kayaks. The only down side was the number of bathrooms, it was a little challenging for such a big group but we made it work. '

'The home was perfect for family fun kayaking, swimming and boating. The location to Great Pond was great with a beach/launch area we all enjoyed. We brought out Golden Retriever Ruby who learned to swim this week and actually jump off the dock. All of us had a fun week.'

'We had a fantastic time at this property! The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed, even coffee. Vince gave us a tour and let us know everything we needed to know when we arrived. The kayaking was amazing. We got so close to bald eagles it was breathtaking, we were simply awed. We saw eagles, osprey, herons and so much wildlife. 'Perfect camp experience on a beautiful lake. The camp is comfortable, clean, rustic, perfect. The grounds are beautiful, fun to explore around the house as well as relax lakeside.
